Colors in the Sky branding

The sky is the ultimate canvas

Untamed and limitless, known by all, beyond genre—an abundance of color, symbol, and imagination. This is where visual language begins. Colors in the Sky is the design studio of Alex Stevovich, delivering excellence across design, illustration, web, and broadcast.

Design

I offer deep experience in high-end design and visual layout, with a specialty in handling fine arts and legacy artists. I’ve worked extensively with top-tier museums and galleries across the United States, contributing regularly to projects involving historic artists such as Mary Cassatt, John Singer Sargent, and Pablo Picasso. My underlying style remains versatile, allowing me to approach any content with clarity and verve.

I’ve designed numerous advertising campaigns, emphasizing visual clarity, brand consistency, and strong editorial presence within national and international print media. Having designed advertisements for placement in nearly every major U.S. publication, I bring the production experience needed to ensure each placement presents at its best.

UI & Broadcast

I apply this same expertise to UI for applications, games, and dashboard systems, as well as real-time overlays for broadcast and film. This includes informational diagrams, motion graphics, titles, and lower thirds.

Illustration

I’m a versatile illustrator able to work across graphic arts and painterly illustration, delivering both richly rendered raster paintings and clear, precise vector-based artwork. All illustration is created by hand, without the use of AI in any form.

Technical

My strong, clean technical linework and a careful eye for visual form deliver outstanding informational graphics and technical diagrams. Mechanical subjects are presented with clarity and structure, while more informational pieces are developed into engaging, visually refined graphics. This work extends into novel data visualization, offering clear and compelling views of complex data sets.
